The Tomás Rivera Endowment’s working mission statement is “to promote the life, legacy and vision of Tomás Rivera.” With this in mind, we support educational, research and cultural arts activities that enhance the creative expression of students, schools, cultural agencies and local communities. The theme will be Children and the Media, with an emphasis on Cartoon Animation production. To this effect, we will seek to invite major figures in television and the motion picture industry. The event will take place in April, 2008
