Diversity Activities

In graduate recruitment and faculty recruitment we actively seek to have a diverse department - this is done through advertising in appropriate venues. The results are quite positive in both populations, as a perusal of our faculty and graduate students will show. Our focus is the Hispanic World, and we attract a very diverse group of students and faculty interested in this area. The area itself (i.e, all that we teach and write about in the Hispanic world) covers a diverse and rich culture.
