Department of Botany

Mission Statement

The Department of Botany and Plant Sciences is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination in personnel decisions.  We are committed to affirmative action to produce desired increases in the numbers of under-represented minorities and women in the faculty and staff including qualified disabled veterans.  The department supports the environment that maximizes the potential of all employees by valuing diversity.

No activities are currently planned; however, the department does utilize the tools, links and contacts provided by the campus to enhance our affirmative action/diversity efforts in staff and faculty recruitments.
