Academic Affairs

The Division of Academic Affairs is UCR’s springboard for student success through undergraduate and graduate instruction.  The Division not only provides oversight for learning, but it also forwards academic proposals, research and sponsored programs, and various other academic initiatives.  To enhance offerings for a diverse populous, it supports leadership, collaboration, service, and innovation for students, faculty, staff, and external constituencies at the local, national, and international levels.  Under its purview are strategic planning, budgeting, policies, administration, and assessment of academic programs.  The unit’s goal is to effectuate the mission of UC by promoting institutional effectiveness, which includes, but is not limited to, the accreditation process.  Its diverse catalysts for implementing the mission are the schools, colleges, and divisions that follow:
