VICE PROVOST FOR UNDERGRADUATE EDUCATION
The Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education (UE) provides campus-wide administrative leadership for enhancing the excellence of the University in the area of undergraduate education. The mission of UE includes developing programs to improve and foster campus resources and environments for teaching and learning. Major areas of leadership activity include:
- Development and implementation of programs that enhance the academic success of UCR undergraduates
- Academic Programs that encourage innovation, discovery, and student engagement in the undergraduate curriculum
- Support for pedagogical innovation, including the use of educational technology
- Student Academic Resources
- Enhancement of student participation in undergraduate research, experiential learning opportunities, and career development programs
