As is the case for any publicly supported research university, external support helps UCR keep its edge on excellence. You are key in that your gift is crucial in supporting excellence and diversity at the campus.  Whether you are interested in giving toward scholarships, training, research, or something else, your gift matters in the lives of students, faculty and staff who matriculate and work here.  In his article, “Diversity in Higher Education:  Why Corporate America Cares,” for example,Anthony Carnevale discusses the importance of giving toward diversity efforts in higher education from the aspect of corporate America. His point is corporate America understands the significance of diversity in the workplace and wants to support it. Just as impacting to corporate support, however, is support from every walk of life.  Regardless to your background, you can give in support of diversity at the Riverside campus.
